It isn't over for him, or for FOX. Many indictments and lawsuits have yet to appear.
There are already a few lawsuits of his underway, he has the rape one that just got kicked off. None of it matters in the sense of politics, and they are not going to take him down. In fact, his polling numbers keep going up on the right, so much so, they are saying DeSantis is basically out even if he decides to run.
In most of the elections, people turn out and vote for things that directly effect/impact them. This election will be down to two things; on the left pro-choice and on the right the economy. Nothing turns out the women's and young generation vote like abortion rights and whenever those two turn out to vote it usually swings left. On the right, if the economy (high gas/high grocery/high goods) remains as poor as it is now, this is bad for Biden because voters start to look at their bank accounts dwindling. It won't be about the players (which are two duds on both sides) but about the issues and which one the voters care about, or impacted by, the most.
It's identity politics...has nothing to do with right or wrong.
