You dont need a cat for that, just use Windows. It spontaneously decides to reboot itself due to upgrade wiping your work.

i started on macs, still use them for music XD it taught me the terminal and how a file system works.

I came to linux because of curiosity …

And it paid off well..

I honestly came back cause in 2005 I used KDE opensuse and loved how it looked back then and sounded. I wanted to bring back those memories but couldn’t fully due to it being kde 4 or 3.5? And in kde 5 things had changed a lot. but I stayed lol then I found garuda with all the mac like theming done and have never left.
