lmao i remember breaking an installation of pop os with a few apt commands. and it was worse in zorin os
Hmm… Doesn’t that contradicts the fact that debian based OS are more stable than arch based, I have got many of deb based distros broken many times just because I updated it or I installed some packages for like office softwares or some simple games.
On the other hand in garuda which is arch based have never gone broken in such a state that you will literally need to just reinstall the whole system because not even grub opens after that .
And that usually use to happen after their big release, it seems like stable release models sometimes backfires you ?
I did that. I literally asked that in a Slackware board lo’ these many years ago.
I still feel the humiliation.

True Story
Got up this morning and one of my Tomcats had a claw “hooked”* in the living room window blinds. He was not happy. I tried to unhook him–he grabbed my nightgown sleeve with his other paw. And now it’s hooked, too. He’s stretched out on his back, both front paws hooked and he’s really, really unhappy.
And now he’s biting my hand, the one trying to help, this snarling, growling, ears laid-back beast who said he was my best friend…
I lower the blinds he’s hooked on, lower and lower–and he finally releases. We are both saved!
Afterwards I apply triple antibiotic while he licks his injured pride.
*“Hooked”–a feline phenomena they employ for sympathetic reasons.
