Setup Assistant - No internet connection

Hi . KDE Dragonized Gaming Edition has been in use for 3 months. Only positive emotions and impressions remained. After unsuccessful experiments with a snapshot, I reinstalled the system(garuda-dr460nized-gaming-linux-zen-210809.iso).
Now I cannot start the Setup Assistant.
A window will appear that says: No Internet connection, please try again.

Can't find the path to gtk.css or gtk-dark.css with so many lines (6342!)
Seems you delete the setup-assistent and you have no internet connection.
I have reinstalled the system many times. Accidental deletion of setup-assistent is not possible

Hi,

I got the same network card, and this is what i have try to get it working :

sudo systemctl stop NetworkManager; sudo ip link set cardname down; sudo modprobe -r r8169; sleep 3; sudo modprobe r8169; sudo ip link set cardname up; sudo systemctl start NetworkManager

When internet get back, search about r8168-dkms in pamac. Install it
As root : sh -c 'echo blacklist r8169 >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf'

What i have try before this solution is :

Install directly from realtek Realtek PCIe FE / GBE / 2.5G / 5G Ethernet Family Controller Software - REALTEK → no sucess

Try thoes 2 option in kernel parameter (separaly) :

ipv6.disable=1
ipv6.disable_ipv6=1

Beter but unstable.

I have read if you enable your boot lan in the bios, its can help.

To be precise: there’s a known BIOS bug on a number of Gigabyte boards. For few users it helped to update BIOS or enable “LAN Boot ROM” option in BIOS.

That’s bad, you shouldn’t ping people especially devs to come and help you out. People have tons of stuff on their heads espcially devs.May i nkow why u need the setup assistant?

I have a different response using the same command.
It seems your DNS server has not properly synced (too old?), or you are using a VPN server.

The important part of the output is:

while I get 200 OK and a different IP address for the site.

So, even if

the response to the terminal command is negative/error.

The app developer has to fix this, if it needs to be fixed. @dr460nf1r3 ?

You may try to change your DNS servers in Network Settings.
Unless you are using VPN.
