Setting to change between Classic, Wayland, Xorg etc seems to be missing

Hi,

I don't know how and why, but the little configuration-wheel is just missing in my gdm. I do know that I can manually direct the system to use wayland or xorg or whatever, but I wondered if it's just me or if this is a general issue.

just to be clear what I mean by that

The marked settings icon is just missing in my gdm.

Edit. Nevermind I guess, installed KDE Plasma and there it is again, only with "Plasma" and "Gnome" as options, nothing else. Well...
