Segfaults happening

This is the second time in the past week I where shortly after booting and logging into gnome, my whole system freezes and I have to cold boot. Both times I noticed a segmentation fault in the system log after rebooting:

First time:

Second time:

  • ONE issue per topic.
  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text

The instruction would probably be better if you got rid of the part about “Hide details” and instead just say “Your inxi output MUST BE IN A CODEBLOCK.” I put it in hide details because I skimmed the instructions, and when my brain got to the hide details part, I thought “This must be a feature to ensure only forum members can see your inxi.”

It’s obviously my fault for not giving it more attention but I’m willing to bet others have done the same.

Back on topic, have you tried running a memtest?
Do the segfaults happen if you log in and just leave the laptop alone? The first one is Vivaldi-related, but the second one is some shell.
