Qtile,Hypryland, QtileWayland can't login

All of suddon only X11 works for a login. (They all worked great till just a few days back, i rolled a snap back, it made no differnece.)

Meaning trying my other window managers blanks the screen and then pops me back to login screen. I have a backup user I only use as “admin” account and it operates in the same manner. After entering username and password, the screen goes blank for 2 to 3 seconds and then presents the login screen again. Any ideas on where I should start looking?

This thing means you need to restart your system .

Now even if you restarted and still doesn’t works then maybe you should use a snapshot . :eyes:

Thanks, yes I have rebooted numerous times over this last week. I did try 3 snapshots and nothing has seemed to resolve it.

Check for clues in the journal after a failed login attempt.

Thank you I will look there, I installed the LTS kernel and Nitrous kernel and seems to work under both new kernels.

Cant find the issue, just moved to LTS Kernel for awhile. The Zen seems to goes some issue after with Hyprland and Qtile. LTS and Nitrous work great.
