Problems with gpu settings

I'm having problems with the gpu configuration because it doesn't appear as a primary in Konsole, and I noticed that some games are crashing because the gpu isn't working properly (nvidia gtx 1050 ti). Thanks for the help I'm new to everything in linux including file types.

Here is the output.

Hi there welcome to the forum.
Your garuda-inxi shows only one GPU

Do you have another one?
It could be disabled in the BIOS.
What does konsole show?

This could be something else. Let’s clarify the above first. Probably it could be better to address this after with a dedicated topic, being more specific with the affected games, providing logs, etc.

Wait, the driver is wrong.
I think your GPU is still supported with the latest version.
How did you install it?

It was installed using Garuda Assistant.

I also have this installed GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000.

I see... Your inxi should have shown a GPU like

Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics

Did you have a chance to check in the BIOS if you have a setting, whatever the name and location e g. to use dGPU only?

I’m not so technically expert on MHWD, I only saw with a simple forum search that there are many user with your exact model and drivers 515.xxx, so I haven’t cross-checked at nvidia site, and I think it is not needed.
My suggestion would be to try

sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia-470xx-dkms
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

and reboot, but maybe hang on a little bit to see if someone that knows better comes across the thread.

I think I have seen a recent change on this, Intel changed exposed description.
If this is the case, maybe inxi needs to modify its discovery method.
I suggest using lspci to confirm, instead of relying on inxi only.

BTW, you are making a lot of work for yourself unnecessarily.

If we want to have terminal output here and talk about input and output, we want to see if the command was not accidentally misspelled. A separate enumeration is sometimes counterproductive and also just makes more work.
I hope this tip is helpful and I could clear up a misunderstanding.

As I said I'm new to all of this, so I'm sorry for something like that and thanks for the tip.

All fine, no sorry needed.

I installed garuda again and it solved the problem.
