Possible GPU or driver issue?

Hello all,

I recently switched from Nobara to Garuda and I am having a few issues I believe to be GPU related. The most annoying of which is frames “skipping” while gaming. My FPS isn’t dropping to where it would explain the issue but I can stand still in the afk screen. I am assuming it is my 3060ti showing as “low power” in my graphics settings but I can’t find a way to change it in the Nvidia-settings menu. I am running the current driver 545.29.06 and the system is up to date. I am familiar enough with Linux to get by but not gaming on Linux so I am at a loss.

Have you tried running in x11 not wayland

My apologies but the only way I’m familiar with switching between Wayland and Xorg is from the login screen but that’s not an option on Garuda or am I missing something?

Thank you, after some brief testing switching to x11 appears to have corrected the frame skip issue. I appreciate the response.
