Pinch to zoom

Hello Everyone,
I am new to Garuda and to be honest also new to Linux GUIs as well, I have been using CLI for over 20 years now (lately on small single board computers running around the house), but always favored windows for desktops mostly because of work.

Maybe because of my windows past I am really missing some features:

  • I really miss the pinch to zoom on my laptop's touchpad
  • I really miss a key stroke that would open up the "start menu" like menu where I could search for an application easily
  • maybe I am messing up something but is there a way to change the font size in alacritty? I have changed the font size in the .yml file in my .config folder. What am I missing?
  • how do I disable the guest account? I generally feel that it is less safe to have it there

Thanks in advance for your answers!
So far it works really well for me other than these tiny details.

Regards!

If we knew what DE do you use, then … maybe … only maybe …

No super/mod key on you keyboard?
xy problem, we do not know what you use and what your search on the Arch wiki has revealed so far.

And for forum search is best you open for each “problem” one topic.
