yes bro i was offline for past few days due to trip but sorry for late reply

I need serious advice here.
I have been recently wanting to install arch linux to learn building and knowing my system from scratch but I just can't make myself to delete garuda. I want to install arch to learn but I am unable to get rid of my love.
If you were in my place what would you have done?

Use VirtuelBox ..

Which DE would you prefer for a kind of slow pc? I don't want to use KDE because it takes a heavy toll on my performance, I was thinking about xfce I want it to be visually appealing(I do know it's gonna be plain on starting I meant most customizable)

Not sure there is a difference 'load' wise anymore - KDE is MUCH improved. MATE might be a bit lighter (haven't checked new release) - but switching to a WM might give better results.

Bias info - I use XFCE

XFCE or Openbox for me.
Openbox is my go to for most installs.

Arch. Especially if I had never done a by-the-Wiki installation before.

Then reinstall Garuda.

Then you don’t want Gnome either cause cause on average now it takes more resources that PLasma.

Just survived arch installation!
