I need serious advice here.
I have been recently wanting to install arch linux to learn building and knowing my system from scratch but I just can't make myself to delete garuda. I want to install arch to learn but I am unable to get rid of my love.
If you were in my place what would you have done?
I think you should remove Garuda !!!!!
Wait ten minutes!!!!!!!!!
Then reinstall Garuda!!!!!!!!
Then you can tell yourself ???
I tried
I always buy a new PC when I want to try something different.
I am adopted by Louis vettons CEO
Ok, it stopped when I had no more space in the house and garage
Just multiboot
We dont support multi boot
You are correct, I should reduce my garuda install by like 20gbs install arch, and when I I happy with it...... /j never getting rid of garuda
with M$ only.
Went to arch forum

Live life on the edge
Use VirtuelBox ..
Which DE would you prefer for a kind of slow pc? I don't want to use KDE because it takes a heavy toll on my performance, I was thinking about xfce I want it to be visually appealing(I do know it's gonna be plain on starting I meant most customizable)
Not sure there is a difference 'load' wise anymore - KDE is MUCH improved. MATE might be a bit lighter (haven't checked new release) - but switching to a WM might give better results.
Bias info - I use XFCE
XFCE or Openbox for me.
Openbox is my go to for most installs.
Arch. Especially if I had never done a by-the-Wiki installation before.
Then reinstall Garuda.
Then you don’t want Gnome either cause cause on average now it takes more resources that PLasma.
Just survived arch installation!
Which DM you go with?
