Can I use Optimus-Manager for nVidia Switching? I think my nVidia is freezing all the time (not exactly Garuda problem: had the same issues in the past), so I want to use the optimus-manager to switch when needed to nVidia, staying on Intel all the extra time. There's any issue I should be aware?
I guess only one person can find out for sure 
You can. If you have an AMD + Nvidia setup install the optimus-manager-git version, else you can use the optimus-manager version (both available in the AUR). To get the GUI applet to switch, you can also install optimus-manager-qt-git or the optimus-manager-qt package depending on which version of optimus manager you install
