Hello,
I’ve got a problem very much similar to this thread, but with a different (sub)application, as seen in the title.

My question is: Can I just ignore this, delete garuda-hardware-profile-nvidia-580xx and install nvidia-open-dkms, or could this break my system?
I’ve had my display driver break multiple times since nvidia announced they’d not support cards as old as mine (1080ti) anymore, even a black-screen-freeze crash just ~20 minutes ago while playing Cities: Skylines II, so I wanted to change to a stable option, open-source drivers perhaps.
I don’t feel safe just uninstalling distro-specific applications though. How should I proceed?
