Nvidia driver problems (am a new user)

Hi everyone!
Im trying to install nvidia drivers on my desktop pc but it isnt exactly going well. First off, relevant hardware and software information:

-Nvidia rtx 3050

-intel i5 processor

-AOC monitor

Trying to install to garuda linux dragonized gaming edition

Less relevant but still maybe of use: i have an asus motherboard, 16gb of ram and 1tb of ssd space.

Now, i would kindly ask for any help, as ive tried quite a few things. Currently my problem is, after trying to install garuda with nvidia drivers, everything went smoothly until i tried to open system settings. Probably just so happened to be system settings, but thats how it went. The tab opened and then closed in a second. I restarted my pc (for the first time after install) and it got to the "initializing ramdisk", faded to a grayish color and stopped. As im wiritng this, its still like that.

If i had to guess, the card isnt outputting anything (or at least anything of value) as im pretty sure my hdmi cable is plugged into the graphics card. I have another hdmi port but it doesnt seem to be outputting anything at all, monitor only shows "no signal". Swaping between the two, both of them now show "no signal".

I have tried to install nvidia drivers on my laptop before, but gave up after a bit since i dont play games on there. The laptop has an Nvidia gtx 1050 (i think). Pretty sure they didnt work, so ive decided to ask here before trying a bunch of things all over again by myself. If there is a reliable way to install the drivers please tell me.

Im sure ill have to reinstall the OS, and i dont really mind it. I just installed it once and ill do it again.

I am not opposed to any possible solutions, as long as i dont have to sell any internal organs.

Im going to sleep in a bit, so if i dont respond for the next 16-18 hours (sleep + work), you can rest assured i didnt just dip.

Thank you in advance, Nick

You didn't fill out the post template. It exists for a reason.

You can get us the most info by following these steps:

Garuda Linux Grub -> Advanced Options -> Recovery mode -> Log in with your original/root password -> systemctl isolate multi-user.target -> garuda-inxi | less

Share images of this if you have to. We need every single line, don't cut stuff off.

If you do it this way, we're not going to search for quick fixes, we're going to search for the root cause and try to figure out why this happened and prevent it from happening again.

Jumps to black, nothing shows up

Press CTRL+ALT+F2 to get into a TTY shell after doing that and post the output logs of for example sddm if you're using KDE (the Dr460nized edition).

journalctl -b -u sddm.service

Pressing crt alt f2 gives no response. Still black, pressed it again after a couple of seconds just to make sure and no response either time

Edit am using the dragonized gaming edition, if theres any difference

Edit 2 , used rufus to "burn" the image to my usb, if that maybe helps with anything?

Okay so, instead of that, go into recovery mode again, isolate to multi-user.target and then view your xorg log file, it should be somewhere in /var/log.

Like so: less /var/log/Xorg.0.log
I'm not sure about the exact file name, you'll figure it out

systemctl isolate multi-user.target took me to a login, logged in, put less var/log/Xorg.0.log, and just a sec, gotta get the text, will edit it in

Hi, im back
From my own bit of digging, could it be an IBT problem? With the intel security thingie?
