New to garuda linux

I would like to enable to chaotic aur, as I read that you need to fetch a package from it, in order to enable wayland on garuda-dr460nized, after installing the wayland session manager, for people who experience a black screen, then return to login screen when trying to load wayland. I did all the command line stuff it said here https://aur.chaotic.cx/ but I got confused by what it meant at the end, when it said this:

Append (adding to the end of the file) to /etc/pacman.conf:

[chaotic-aur] Include = /etc/pacman.d/chaotic-mirrorlist

if anyone could help it would be much appreciated. thank you in advance

how do you download from it?

With pacman just like any other packages. It is just one of your available repos.
