Need 5.4 kernel

my old crappy Acer Chromebook doesn't play well with wayfire/latest kernel because of i915 graphics.
Is it possible to install 5.4 kernel? If 'yes' - how?

I know you said “latest” kernel. Are you looking for the lts kernel by any chance, or are you specifically looking for the 5.4 kernel? If you’re just looking for the lts kernel, that should be even easier than the 5.4.

I'm explicitly looking for 5.4.
Is it possible to chose during installation? System gets unstable as soon as I start with a newer kernel.
