My Gnome+Wayland+Nvidia Destop will not start after update

i was also forced to use the LTS kernel to bypass this boot failure issue regarding the 470xx drivers.

isn't it neat how chasing the newest open source software renders older but still great and fully functional hardware instantly obsolete in the exact same way that micro$soft and nvidia and apple does?

i think certain people need to get their hands on a dictionary and look up the word 'hypocrisy' before they complain about big tech's profiteering tactics...

gnome-shell updated to version 43.1 fixes the issue for me. I just did garuda-update, enabled Wayland and rebooted.
