Also had success with Clonezilla after using the beta a few months ago; was able to use Ventoy; non beta was not booting properly as well. (forget the error)
I use Ventoy because it is simply more efficient for me than having a separate stick for every tool I want to use or every distro I want to take a quick look at or overwrite.
As mentioned above, I have things like Clonezilla, GParted, FreeDOS, Supergrub, Rescatux, HDAT2 and a few others that I need from time to time for my personal hardware. Even if someone asks me for help because their computer is having problems, I take this stick with me and am prepared for most cases.
For years I used Multi Boot USB tools for this, but Ventoy makes it very straightforward. Unlike with the various multi-USB tools, any beginner can do it with Ventoy without any problems.
EDIT:
Corrected the quote to the right language
Interesting that clonezilla works just fine when installed from Garuda repository but not the live USB iso or zip.
Alright, I will download Ventoy and use it in the future.
