Hi, relatively new to Garuda (Accidentally corrupted it about a year ago and haven't had time to install it again until now)

I have a fresh install of Garuda but my Meta/Super key doesn't open the Application launcher. It appears that by default the Latte Dock is no longer used. With Plasma being the default now?

I've tried pretty much everything I've found online. I've tried:

  • Meta+F1, Alt+F1, Ctrl+F1
  • Removing any shortcuts that use Meta+F1, Alt+F1 or Ctrl+F1
  • Editing the kglobalshortcuts and changing the shortcut to only use the Meta key
  • Uninstalled Latte Dock as I thought it may have been conflicting

KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2

Latte Dock Meta key shortcut does work so I'm not sure why Plasma's doesn't.

Hi @g35011, try this:

  • Edit ~/.config/kwinrc
  • Remove the following section
    [ModifierOnlyShortcuts]
    Meta=org.kde.lattedock,/Latte,org.kde.LatteDock,activateLauncherMenu
  • Logout and log back in

Which ISO version? 221019 or 230305?

Also plz reboot your system, that specific change happens once you first reboot (or relogin, can't remember) after you apply the Migration.
