You read it right, black screen after reopening the lid after several mins, sometimes the display wont even show up after too many hours.
It is really annoying as I have to restart the whole laptop forcefully.
My laptop is HP Pavalion 15 Gaming axec026, with Garuda Linux Dragonized ediiton DUAL BOOTED WITH WINDOWS 10 ON SAME DISK Please assist me.
I'm not knowledgeable enough to properly troubleshoot this, but this might help:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management/Suspend_and_hibernate#Troubleshooting
I suggest you wait for someone experienced to answer, but if you want try something maybe enable early KMS for your Intel igpu.
You did not state whether this was the case since you installed, or if this is an older installation that this just started happening?
As you have been forum member 2 months now you should know how to post proper specs.
Post:

You should try changing your power states in your bios.
You should test a half dozen different kernels as this is your most likely fix.
Try at least these kernels:
linux-
linux-lts
linux-mainline
linux-zen
linux-next-git
linux-hardened
Post all your efforts and results.
Far more detailed specs are required at the minimum, and you need to answer all questions requested of you.
Is your bios up to date?
Please assist me (with this info).

I update my BIOS few months ago. It switched on some settings which i disabled earlier like Secure Boot and turning on Legacy support.
What troubles me the most is my laptop doesn't go into hibernation. There's no option for it, still it switches off power automatically after certain time.
Kindly please suggest me method to change Linux kernel as previous change to Linux-zen was by my colleague
