LiveUSB automatic driver installation via MHWD runs forever

Hello all,

I finally decided to give a shot to Garuda and finally getting rid of Windows on my desktop PC.

It seems I can't boot in either free or non-free drivers, the "automatic driver installation via MHWD" seems to take forever (10min+) for both options.

I'm using the KDE "Gaming" edition, as it's my desktop PC sole purpose. Here are my specs:

CPU: i7-9700k
GPU: RTX 2080
RAM: 32gb

any idea ?

Check you have fastboot disabled in your bios and secureboot

Both are disabled, I managed to boot using mesa drivers though
