Kernal Panic & Freeze caused by USB Controller

Hello.

Ok I just installed Guarda linux to get back into linux however my offbrand(however still linux supported) from https://sunwaytek.com/ just causes a kernal panic and freezes the entire system when plugged in, this controller seems to work on just about every other distro(debian based distros) so far so this should work with out the catastrophic meltdown.

Steps I tried to fix it with:
1.Official arch Linux wiki game-pad page didn't seem to be useful
2.Reinstalled generic controller drivers with the [Gaurda Gamer] app thing
3. Checked /var/logs for logs... most were empty as this is a brand new install
4.Googled where kernel panic logs live specifically on arch Linux with no clear results....

tldr: I'm asking where relevant logs might be or any packages that might be needed are for fixing my controller kernel panicking?
