Kdeinit5 force close after saving a screenshot

When I take a screenshot (both with spectacle and flameshot), after I save it (and the notification with the save confirm and the preview of the screenshot appears) a message pops up: "kdeinit5 closed unexpectedly"

Here is the full log:

Application: kdeinit5 (kdeinit5), signal: Segmentation fault

The crash occurs only when the notification appears, because if I open Spectacle it automatically saves the screenshot in my Pictures folder, but no crash appears. But when I click on save and the notification appears, then the kdeinit5 error appears too. This issue wasn't there two days ago. Is it a plasma-only related issue? Should I report it to bugs.kde.org?

To be honest, I have never faced a bug like this before for spectacle :eyes:
bugs.kde.org is indeed a good place to report this as there is where "software level" bugs get fixed

I must congratulate you @ayesse for being a responsible Linux user. I wish more user that were only here a week were as conscientious as yourself with filing bug reports.

Thank you very much. After distrohopping for years I finally found my sweet spot, and I want it to be perfect and help for it in every possible way for me

26 days is nothing to fix a KDE bug.

If it was a "necro" I would have closed the thread earlier at 01:49pm today.
