After turning off the latte dock, these icons disappeared in standard applications, how can I get them back?Don't want to use latte dock as it conflicts with goverlay
This should be managed within the KDE settings (provided that KDE is in use, considering the topic category, but we don't have your garuda-inxi 
).
You should set
Windows Decorations = (e.g. Sweet-Dark) and adjusting the position in tab "Titlebar buttons"
Furthermore, I'd make sure that * in $HOME/.config/kwinrc
[Windows]
BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false

helped pacman -R latte-dock and BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false
