Sigh. I did search, but to be honest I'm in a bit of a rush because I'm trying to figure this out before my daughter needs to use the computer. I just searched again and found this post. I tried switching over from sddm to sddm-git, rebooted, and got no success.
If you have recommendations or if you're aware of a particular post that my searching didn't find, I would appreciate a point in the right direction.
