Hi there
Since a week ago all the KDE panel dock shortcuts do nothing (not Latte), neither the applications widget and some system tray shortcuts like night color control (won't open related system settings on click).
I click them but nothing happens. Tried making a new dock panel to try, no luck. Don't know if that's related but I can't see either icons on desktop (I've got the option enabled).
Meanwhile I'm using Krunner and the terminal to launch apps, but I'd love to know what's going on.
Thank you in advance.

That's strange, this system has been up for almost six months. Also had been rebooted many times these last days and rebooting didn't solved the problem.

Are you able to link the moment things started misbehaving with some sort of event that happened pretty much at the same time or just prior?

Maybe you could delete your cache in ~/.cache
.
Not a bad idea to backup the folder somewhere else just in case, but it's normally safe to delete its content, especially when some weird things are happening like you suffer right now.
Don't delete the folder though, delete what's inside.
Then reboot.
A cleaner way, to me, would be to logoff your session, switch to another TTY (CTRL-ALT-F2, say) in terminal mode and do the removal from there, after backing up if you can. Then reboot.

I did this
sudo mv ~/.cache ~/.cacheBCK
and rebooted, problem persists. Probably it's just some package on one of the latest update and maybe it will solve with another upgrade.
I switched back to latte, was working fine and I changed it since the announcement but would suffice until this solves itself.
EDIT: thanks everyone for the help, I'm closing the thread.
