KDE autostarts get launched when logging into another WM

Hi, I'm using the d460n1zed edition. I wanna try a tiling window manager called LeftWM but I noticed that all the KDE autostarts (e.g. latte-dock) also get launched when I logged into that WM. I've tried disabling sddm.service and start the WM directly from xinit using startx but no luck, latte was still launched. I really wonder why.

I haven't messed with any settings of this sort of KDE autostarts (only added yakuake). And my .xinitrc is super clean, I just copied /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc and added this line at the end:

exec dbus-launch leftwm

So here's my question:

  • How to prevent launching KDE autostarts when logging into another DE/WM? I'd like to know both the display manager way and xinit way.

Ok then... guess I'll have to figure it out myself. Thanks for your reply.
