Issue Accessing Application with linux-zen

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble accessing an application using linux-zen. The application runs without any issues when I use regular Linux, but I can’t get it to work with linux-zen. I really don’t understand what’s causing this problem. Can anyone help me figure this out?

I cannot access applications via their icons, and this only happens on linux-zen. For example, when I click the Microsoft Edge icon, I get the error: “failed Unit app-microsoft\[email protected] not found.” This happens with almost all application icons. However, when I boot using regular Linux/ Linux Linux, all application icons work fine and run without issues.

Just use what works.
Weak CPUs may not be properly supported by Zen. Switch to X11 in the login window.
Further research is not worthwhile.

The “linux” kernel package is the latest kernel available which is super fast & modern in itself.
