Installing ffmpeg breaks dependency *** required by vbam-wx

I tried to do an update today, and it gave me the error noted above with four dependencies throwing the error:

  • libavcodec.so=61-64
  • libavformat.so=61-64
  • libavutil.so=59-64
  • libswscale.so=8-64

I have no idea why this broke all of a sudden, I have done no dependency modifications that I’m aware of, but could someone help me fix this please and thanks.

After floundering around for a while, I just tried uninstalling vbam-wx and it went through. No idea what that was for, but I can’t reinstall it now, so if anyone could tell me what vbam-wx was even for, I’d appreciate it.

It’s a package in the AUR repo

Nintendo GameBoy Advance emulator
It has currently an issue with a key, but it should be possible to workaround it.
