I have a simple question

Hello, I want to make the switch from Win 11 over to Linux and I have chosen Garuda. I, a simple question. Will my PC run Garuda? I have a Ryzen 7 3700x, 16 GB ram, and a GTX 1660 Super. It’s the 1660 I have my worry’s about.

Try Garuda from the live usb and try
If everything works then there should be no reason why it will not when you install it

Thank you

Im running a r5 3600 with an rx580 and while its VERY RAM-hungry for a Linux, Garuda runs admirably. Luckily i run 32gigs of RAM, so im fine with that.
Especially the gaming performance is very, very good. They totally deliver on that promise.

Garuda uses a relatively large amount of RAM compared to other distributions. This is true. But you should get rid of old views from 10-20 years ago. Today’s operating systems are very good at managing RAM usage. Unused RAM is useless RAM.
