In the next day or so I'm replacing mt nVidia 1650 with a AMD 6600. I finally have two HDMI ports that I can hookup both my monitor and the TV to. What I want to do is be able to quick switch audio devices in Plasma when I switch displays. When I'm running the system using the monitor I have the HDMI audio disabled cause I have speakers plugged directly into the sound on the motherboard, but when I switch to the TV for display I will need the HDMI audio. Is there some way to switch the audio device without having to always open System Settings / Audio? Thanks
Looks like all I have to do is leave the HDMI audio enabled instead of disabling it like I always do and switch to it instead of the speakers right from the audio icon in the Systray.
