How do I re-arrange and copy Panels?

Hey all,

I did a Garuda update recently and it changed my desktop look and feel and Ive been unable to find a resolution to it. Im running the Dragonized layout but I sort of want to drop this bottom panel in favor of the single panel which has all the taskbar icons and Start icon. I have 3 screens.

My first question is how do I replicate a panel in Dragonized layout? Id like it on all 3 screens.

Thanks in advance!

Right-click your desktop on the screen you want to add that panel and

This will not replicate your custom panel, it will create a new Dr460nized default panel.
Not sure there is a clean way to actually replicate a custom panel…

Thanks FGD. That was helpful and was able to add the default panel, I dont have anything custom.

My next question is how do I get this panel to move up and STAY a few inches? Everytime I drag it up it auto snaps back down. Im lost on if this is even doable.

Unfortunately with the defaults that come with Plasma no there isn’t cause the KDE devs chose not to adopt features from Latte into Plasma’s docks / panels.

Drag it up? It's either auto-hidden and pops up on mouseover or it's set to be always visible no inbetween. As for dragging it only if you are in edit mode and dragging it to a different location.

See what I mean in the video below for it snapping back down, Id like to get it to stay where i had it hovering,if possible

Plasma Panels does not allow that, when you drag it, it is to move it to other screen edges. Left, Top, Right or Bottom.
You can defloat the panel, it will raise permanently by a few millimiters, but waaaaayyy less than on your video. This option is available in EDIT MODE (like in your video) and when you click on the Panel Options.

BTW, your video is not a Panel, it’s a Dock. Plasma Panels has Panels and Docks (little bit confusing I know).

I did see that floating option, thanks for clarifying FGD!
