/home folder suddenly became read-only

List all root files in /home

find $HOME ! -user $USER -type f

Remove with

cd ~/
sudo chown -R $USER: $HOME

Unable to open application

Looks good. ls -la /home/ drwxr-xr-x - root 26 Mär 05:12  . drwxr-xr-x - root 11 Apr 06:55  .. drwxr-xr-x - root 26 Mär 05:12  garuda drwx------ - sgs 16 Jun 01:24  sgs And touch works fine here. Just use again. Now tell use which apps you use after the fix Or list all root files in /home find $HOME ! -user $USER -type f
