GitKraken reports "no auth sock variable"

I installed GitKraken 7.5.2 and entered my credentials, which went fine.

I generated an SSH key pair and registered the public key with Azure Devops, as I have done for other systems, including other Linux systems.

I ensured the sshd is running.

When I attempt to clone a repo using SSH, I get the error"Clone Failed error authenticating: no auth sock variable".

I have not had this issue on other systems, so how do I resolve it?

Do plain SSH and git work?

Have you read their documentation?

Given this is paid-for software, have you tried their support routes?
