Getting this pop up whenever trying to zoom in with my touchpad

Whenever I try to zoom in with my touchpad I get this pop up.
I would have liked to share an image but unfortunately new users cant do that.
Anyways here is how the pop up goes
"Remote Control requested
An application requested access to:

  • Input devices"

and if I press Share then my whole keyboard starts like malfunctioning.
please help
Also I am really new to linux. I have just installed it a week ago so please use simple terms. I think I am using the latest version of garuda linux.

Welcome to the Garuda forums!
We need some more info to be able to help you out (especially regarding the make and model of your laptop most likely).

Please follow these steps:

  1. Open Garuda Assistant
  2. Go to the system specs tab
  3. Click “Copy for forum”

The result should look something like this:

If I remember this is a wayland mainly but also kde bug. You can swap over to x11 from the login screen but then you lose a lot of the nicer gestures.

As elite suggested, try switching to x11 and seeing whether the issue persists.
If the bug goes away, then it’s up to the KDE dev team to address it for the Wayland sessions.

Yeah the issue isnt there with X11 but then I dont even have pinch to zoom at all. Is there anyway to enable it in X11?

(just to be clear i am able to zoom in by pinching but the zooming the entire screen thingy isnt working. in the browser it does that +110%,+120% type of zoom)
