Gestures Not Working in dr460nized KDE editions?

Hello! I am fairly new to Garuda and Arch in general, so bear with me.

I installed Garuda KDE BlackArch and KDE dr460nized a while back, and was very impressed, though because it was a time of OS testing for me, I had uninstalled them to keep on testing various OS'. However, I have settled on Garuda KDE dr460nized to be my main runner, and want to install it on my mid-2015 Macbook Pro 15". One of the things I thoroughly enjoyed and was impressed with was the gestures that came pre-installed with Garuda, though when I booted to the LiveUSB the gestures no longer work. I installed, reinstalled, installed another OS and then reinstalled Garuda (each time with freshly downloaded images), and with no avail cannot get the gestures working again. I've scoured the forums, and internet to try and find a solution, tried all three versions of the dr460nized KDE version, and gone through every setting I could think of. I see that libinput and libinput-gestures is already included in the packages in the system. Am I missing something obvious? Or did gestures support get dropped from the OS? I appreciate the help, new to the forums, but decently familiar with Linux.

Hi there, welcome!
Could it be that, rather than do not work, libinput-gestures actually do not autostart?
On an installed system, I remember this thread. Try to give a look if it can help…

in addition to the previous response, I'm guessing your search drew a blank because you're thinking its a kde thing, which it isn't. if you've the 2 parts already installed, just type this at the terminal: libinput-gestures-setup autostart . There is also a nifty gui for this which will save editing a file if you want to add more or change a thing or two, its in the AUR and its called "gestures".

Thank you both! I was able to get libinput-gestures working, though it's not working how it used to, but it's working, so I'm content! I appreciate your help, and am excited to be part of the community!!
