Garuda Update Issue - list must have an even number of elements while executing

Hello all,

I tried to update the system today by doing garuda-update today and I’m receiving the following output:

Here is a snippet of the file if that is useful at all

}

I definitely did not edit this file manually so I’m not sure what caused this to happen and unfortunately I can’t think of something that I did to cause it either.

I did try to restore from a previous snapshot, but that did not resolve the issue either.

If there is anyone who could help troubleshoot this with me that would be greatly appreciated!

Yup, this is my fault, I’m working on it, really sorry for this everyone! It turns out you can’t have comments in TCL arrays. Nice.

The fix should be deployed, can you give it another shot for me?

Edit: For those travelling through forum searches to come here, this is fixed in garuda-update 4.3.1. Try running garuda-update again and you should be good to go!

By all due respect to TCL, this isn’t pretty, and I’d rather not have comments in that array than use this pretty unreadable method of hacking them in :3

Thought so :rofl:
Oh well.
