The grub-theme garuda is fixed now, yes
i did had xdg-desktop-portal-kde installed prior to the update, yes
Remove that
run
garuda-update remote fix
just for me so that the new format in which package updates are show can be show
then run
garuda-update
and give it’s output

Should i do this on the updated system or should i revert to the snapshot before and do that?
In snapshot, we just need to remove that extreme dependency which is actually installing plasma for you
which I think would might be xdg-desktop-portal-kde or maybe I can be wrong , but it’s better than having no clue.

So after running garuda-update remote fix it automatically ran garuda-update and the output is:
it exceeds the character limit xD
It is indeed dependency cycle problem and there is a lot of chaos happening because of it,
but I can’t suggest any solution for that thing

it can be possibly due to plasma 6 migration , which is happening ATM in garuda

Alright, no worries.
I don’t reboot my system that often tbh so i have no problems with it taking 20 seconds worth of manual clicking around to get into my PC 
It’ll sort itself out once that whole plasma 6 chaos is over
