i clickeed on the thread link and read through… i updated to the latest, and reinstalled Droidcam, getting the same behavior witht he kernels list again. This error output during install of Droidcam seems to be a culprit?

but btw ..you have a zen 3 cpu (Ryzen 9 5950x)
and not a zen 5 generation
deinstall and install if znver 3
This kernel is not optimized for amd cpus.

no im running on 9950x3D and that is zen5. Where’d you get that info im using 5950x coz im not
EDIT: My profile shows that i run 5950x, I havent updated the profile whoops. I was told to try the mainline kernel(my understanding is this is bleeding edge version) for my wifi module on the x870e Taichi motherboard… there is another thread i have covering this issue.
My Inxi output states 9950x3D nowadays. Inxi outputs more reliable than profiles lol
