Garuda OS keeps freezing when it is connected to KVM device

Hello,

I am using Garuda as my primary OS and macOS BIg Sur as my scondary OS. I wanted to share mouse and keyboard among these two OSs. So I bought KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) of "Cable Matters" brand. SInce I have been using KVMalong with these OS I notice that Garuda OS freezes after few mins of running. When Garuda OS freezes nothing responds not even keyboard hot keys to launch terminal in order to restart GUI. Wierdly KVM is not affecting or freezing macOS its just Garuda which is being affected by the KVM.

I cannot provide you the terminal logs because when it freezes I can't even copy paste from terminal. However I have taken a picture of the terminal where it can be seen why it is being frozen. Here is the link of the terminal's picture :

Here are the specs of my computer :

Name: Intel Core i5-8500T
Microarchitecture: Coffee Lake
Technology: 14nm
Max Frequency: 3.500 GHz
Cores: 6 cores
AVX: AVX,AVX2
FMA: FMA3
L1i Size: 32KB (192KB Total)
L1d Size: 32KB (192KB Total)
L2 Size: 256KB (1.5MB Total)
L3 Size: 9MB
Peak Performance: 672.00 GFLOP/s

The messages appear to indicate that the GPU does not like the KVM as an output device, or there is some other fault.

Unfortunately you missed out any information about your GPU or kernel which could be key to an issue related to graphics. There was an inxi command you were asked to provide the output from - this would have included the necessary information.

Here it is again:

Thanks for helping me formatting the terminal output on this forum.

Apart from the terminal output, I also want to share that I am using Garuda in dual boot with Wndows 10. But I almost never switched to WIndows. It's just secondary OS on the system.

How does having three displays using different connectors work with a KVM switch?

Should I buy using all of 3 monitors either with HDMI or with DisplayPort ?

I would try with one display first and see if that works.

Actually since more than 12 hours I am using OS without KVM but I still encounter the same problem. Now there is no KVM. I have doubt that It might be occurring because of my keyboard. I am using this keyboard since I am encountering this problem. Maybe its not KVM but keyboard. Is there a way to find which specific component is making OS frozen or it's coming from itself ?

For reference, that's the keyboard I am using via a USB type c cable :

Thanks

Sounds reasonable.

Use a different keyboard?
