Garuda Linux/ MSFS2020 and Lutris

Hi At first I had Windows 11 on my computer, but I changed to Fedora, but that hung for several seconds. I changed to Garuda linux, but the problem is similar. I wanted to install microsoft Flight simulator 2020 game through lutris but the game crashes on the first screen. Can the game work through lutris? I wanted to test the game, so I bought access to steam with the game for a little money. Could this affect the game's performance? I didn't want to risk the full amount for MSFS2020 not working on Linux. I don't know how to embrace these 2 problems. Can you guys help me out?

Are you talking about the 40th anniversary edition? If so, make sure to check out the protondb page to see what other people did to get it to work:
https://www.protondb.com/app/1250410

Please try and stick to one problem per thread, as your post is very confusing (and apparently there are 2 problems?). Also, we don't condone any form of piracy on these forums, so if that is part of your problem, you're on your own.

If you've tried anything in an effort to get the game to work, please be very specific about what you've tried. Give a list of dot points if that helps you be more specific. That way, you'll be able to get help faster.

You made me realize that the problem could be the source of the game. I didn't know that could be the problem.... Steam is Steam I thought. For now I don't have the game officially purchased so the topic is best removed.
