Garuda linux kde is freezing after boot

Boot to Grub.
At your main boot entry, press E key, to go to a terminal like page.
Find the line that starts with linux .
Go to the end of the line and write suggested parameters.
Press F10 to boot.

I have the same CPU and GPU and all are fine (with archlinux).

Your next option is to chroot using Garuda ISO and run updates, or other actions to get info and/or repair.
Lots of instructions are at wiki and FAQ and Tutorials

I'm not a linux guy I always use windows, but for a project I'm using this and I'm in love with this distro

the Grub parameter is not working

I recently had a similar experience with Dr46onized: An update pretty much destroyed everything: No more panels, window headers unresponsive, alacritty terminal not opening etc.

I restored the last snapshot and everything worked again. The snapshots are truly an amazing feature - and very much needed for rolling distributions.

Please help me, To go through the chroot thing

Starting this is easy. But then, troubleshooting needs more effort and responsibility, study etc.

Boot to Garuda ISO.
Start Konsole, or other terminal.
Run this command

sudo garuda-chroot

Run other terminal commands.
When finished, exit, runningā€¦

exit

Whatever error messages, post here.

Inside chroot, do at least (remember that you are logged in as root with full privileges to fix or break your system):

pacman -Syu
mhwd -li

and post output of those two.

This problem was occurring due to the RLT8188FTV wifi usb adaptor driver. Can you please help me to fine a suitable driver?

At your services! I forward you to another employee which is a specialist on the subject.
@tbg hey!! Customer! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Both packages are creating screen freezing issue

I'd suggest testing different kenels.

I already mentioned the last time I dealt with your wifi support issue, I'd buy a replacement adapter as this model is very problematic. Being a USB adapter (not an internal) it's easily replaceable with lots of other more reliable reasonably priced alternatives.

This model just isn't worth the headaches it brings for the price of a cheap replacement..

All was good with the previous update but this update makes some issues with my device. I think there is an issue with the display driver.

I leave display issues to others, I try to help users with networking issues mostly.

Good luck, and this time if you figure out a solution be sure to post the steps for others benefit (unlike the last thread I assisted you with where you ignored my request).
