Hello, this is my first time posting, though I've been trying garuda for a while. Despite the output above, I wiped my entire drive before installing garuda so there is no dual boot.

After I installed garuda, I noticed that almost every time I boot from the laptop being off, I would freeze on a black screen before the log in screen. Rarely does the laptop boot properly on the first run. Sometimes I have to reboot 3+ times in a row to get it to work. I've noticed that if I load from a snapshot it works right away, though I haven't confirmed this enough to determine if that's anecdotal. On the black screen the only thing it says is:

0.0822701__common_interrupt 0.100 No irq handler for vector

I've read about this and apparently if I update my bios it fixes this, maybe down the line I'll fix it but not a priority right now. If anyone had knowledge on the booting issue that would be very much appreciated.

In case you are getting stuck on old EFI boot variables:

Run efibootmgr to see the boot order, then delete any old or unneeded entries on the list. If you have more than one for Garuda, go ahead and delete them all and just make a new one by reinstalling Grub.

sudo efibootmgr -b 0001 -B

Substitute "0001" or the boot entry on your system to be deleted. -b announces the entry will be modified, and -B specifies deletion as the modification type.

After all the old entries are deleted, reinstall Grub.

sudo grub-install

Regenerate the Grub configuration file.

sudo update-grub

Then shutdown the computer so you can test from a cold boot.

I ran this and saw it was detecting something for windows (wasn't first) so I removed that and reinstalled grub, but no luck unfortunately. This is my current boot order:

I'm not sure what 9999 is or if I need any of the others.
