Garuda Gaming Edition 2018 MacBook Pro Touchbar

Issue: Currently using a Bluetooth keyboard with touchpad. Garuda does not detect keyboard and touchbad. Not expecting the touchbar to work.. but I need the keyboard and touchpad to work. Carrying a Bluetooth keyboard around is not ideal. In keyboard settings I chose MacBook Pro. Still not working. I’m New to Linux. I have read about fasuma I don’t know if that’s going to help me with my issue.. any help would be appreciated. New to Linux but I can figure out how to use terminal to install.

My laptop: MacBook Pro 2018 with touchbar.
Intel i7 processor and AMD 555x gpu.

Thanks for the heads up.

If you include terminal outputs in your post please
use the proper output format in your post.
Using "~" 3 times above and "~" 3 times below the text block
will provide a readable, raw look.

I just fix it

It looks a little hacky, but this guy managed it:

Thank you so much for finding this .. can’t wait to get home to try!

I think what you may want is to the T2 kernel:

https://t2linux.org/

I believe there may be other specialized kernels for the fruity brand using the T2 chip. Not the best choice of hardware to run Linux on.

It wasn’t a choice to buy a laptop to install Linux on .. lol . It’s the only laptop I have. And after all these years .. I wanted to try out Linux. On my desktop using blender on Linux is 2X faster rendering. Actually everything is faster on Linux. I think the MacBook Pro is a beautiful machine.. and Garuda is the most beautiful os I have used. It’s a win win. Besides the drivers issues:) would have been cool to have all the doc icons on the Touch Bar.

Just like in real life, beauty isn’t everything. The rest must also fit.

New problem, new topic.
BTW, what is a doc icon and what is a Touch Bar?
Maybe you find answers in the Arch Wiki.
