Feedback on firedragon

Hello
I am using firedragon for a while, it’s really much faster than those bloat chromium based browsers that I was using previously
Have a really nice themeing done ,
Important settings and and extensions that I would might have downloaded are already there no need to configure or customize it after installing , it’s just ready to use
But there are few things that are annoying for at least me

  1. when I start firedragon it will not start and many of the times I have to quit and start again and again to get rid of this kind of problem :
  2. when I am using whatsapp web to upload any photo or pdf then the uploaded file is literally different from the file that I was uploading , for example
if I upload this meme to one of my friends :

then after uploading it will look like this :

This problem of not opening is not only for that option only, it affects other options too in settings and sometimes very less frequently but also it affects web pages too .

  1. there is problem with zooming option , when i change the value of zoom from 100 to something like 120 then when I click back on zoom again then it doesn’t opens again , then I have to select 'zoom text only ’ so that i can change the value , better explained in this video (please ignore my typing speed there  …) :
  1. it’s very fast and work flawlessly but sometimes even when it doesn’t cause too much CPU load on my system still it starts to lag and sometimes have very bad quality of animations and also quits sometimes , like when I was writing this topic , it automatically quited 2 times

And that’s all that I can say , It is really nice browser provided by you all garuda team . Even if these issues will not be get solved but I will still like to use it

This will be Firedragon preventing access to the browser Canvas by default. There might be a notification on the left of the URL bar saying that access had been blocked, and you can enable access for the site there too.

Disabling profile-sync-daemon might help - systemctl --user disable --now psd

Is this your way of trying to say that you receive an error while searching? If so then what do you expect to happen if you don't elaborate on the error lol.

The fire dragon :dragon: uses whoogle

And your point is what exactly?

Please can you stop it ?
Your posts are of no meaning

Everyone here are spending a part of their precious time so that they can support a project in which they are interested

These days even i have no time,
most of the time I use to visit this forum when i am on a public transport from my phone .
Other than that i am just busy in my academics.
I wanted to report this thing from 2 weeks so that atleast some of my problems get solved but wasn't able to get any free day for it.

If you want to help us then suggest some good things like commands or scripts .

(Sorry for OT)

Will it affect other parts of my system ?
(Just wanted to ask before applying because i am somewhat afraid as I have never did this thing before  )

PSD is Photoshop Document I think so maybe he's saying the issue is with that. So unless you use Photoshop it shouldn't be an issue. Now of course PSD could have multiple meanings but that's my understanding at least haha

Nevermind I just realised it's actually profile sync daemon

profile-sync-daemon (psd) is a tiny pseudo-daemon designed to manage browser profile(s) in tmpfs and to periodically sync back to the physical disc (HDD/SSD). This is accomplished by an innovative use of rsync to maintain synchronization between a tmpfs copy and media-bound backup of the browser profile(s).

Thanks , i will try it now

4 posts were split to a new topic: Garuda is not showing updates

No, it simply stops copying the browser profiles to RAM  for some reason it causes issues at times.
