I am running VS Code with the Android Emulator, but after switching it off, the fan is still working.

After closing all the processes, I discovered that the memory was at 3 GB. What's the problem and why it is producing this much heat continuously . Please help me ,I am a beginner

It could be because the processor is weak and always has to work under high pressure or the cooling has to be cleaned because this throttles the CPU and therefore the performance is so weak.
My intel CPU

However, in my case, the heating continued to generate even after no processes other than Google Chrome 3 tabs were running.

Check with htop if the "browser" or other apps like baloo are at work.

You can't make a racehorse out of a plow horse.

Edit:

Even this laptop gets "warm".

Hi,

When you are plugged into power, the CPU performance is automatically increased, to get a more responsive experience. High CPU performance, along with more power consumption generates higher amount of heat naturally.

Secondly, whenever you close a heavy application like Android Emulator, it is a good practice to restart the laptop.

Third, open Garuda Assistant > Settings then select powersave tweaks and other relevant fields and click on apply.

I hope this helps.

PS : Have a look at
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CPU_frequency_scaling
It should be helpful I guess.
