Me too same error. I avoided it by following these steps: wget https://builds.garudalinux.org/repos/chaotic-aur/x86_64/wayland-protocols-git-1.36.r10.g7d5a3a8-1-any.pkg.tar.zst sudo pacman -U wayland-protocols-git-1.36.r10.g7d5a3a8-1-any.pkg.tar.zst execute setup assistant.
