Failed to unpack image error during installation: DR460NIZEDGAMING

Hi Everyone!
I have been trying to install DR460NIZEDGAMING for a couple days now. I’ve gotten past alot of kernel panic hurdles and can now consistently boot into the graphical interface. I am, however, running into a problem in the last steps of the installation. I am getting an error:

Failed to unpack image "/run/miso/bootmnt/garuda/x86_64/rootfs.sfs"
Details:
rsync failed with error code 10.

I have looked at the forum but none of the solutions really apply in my case. I’d love any assistance and willing to try any advice to rectify this. Many thanks in advance!

Just use last Dragonized or Mokka Version from download page.

You can install all games etc. with garuda-gamer after the installation on every Garuda DE.

Check sha sum on boot stick, use ventoy.net and grub2 if needed.

On grub install page also use free GPU driver, not Nvidia. Install Nvidia driver later if needed.

Try the LTS kernel version if all else fails.

Thanks for your reply!

I’ve tried the LTS version of Dragonized, as well as Mokka and Dragonized Zen.

With Mokka and Dragonized Zen, I ran into the same error during installation.

With the LTS version, I didn’t even make it to the installer, the system shut down after an error and never reached the graphical interface.

I found a solution to my problem. Aside from updating my BiOS, I also updated my Samsung SSD’s firmware and I was able to successfully install Garuda. Thank you guys for your help! Happy to be apart of the community.
