Fresh install, (single install). Down loads from ‘Direct’ and ‘SourceForge’ using Ventoy version 1.1.05 and grub2. Each attempt, got as far as Garuda Rani. Here initially the display was fine but the mouse was frozen. Another attempt, was able to select and run Garuda, Calmares, but while setting up the disk partion the application (and mouse) froze. Another attempt went further and the drives were formatted, then the application froze.
Reinstalled garuda-dr460nized-linux-zen-250308 successfully.
Next attempt with the following changes, different monitor plugged into motherboard (bypass the video card), used a wired keyboard and wired mouse (no bluetooth), in all cases using wired internet connection. Furthest progress, arrived at the installer - finish, but had an error with ‘main.py’ (see picture).
This inix was taken while booted with the ico.
Any suggestions I missed?

EDIT: Successfully used the same USB stick, *.ico, grub2 - on a MSI GT70 laptop.
EDIT 2: Referencing Garuda (Gaming and Mokka) would not install on the latest ISO
I downloaded garuda-dr460nized-linux-zen-250801 from the home page of the Garuda website. I ran into the same issues as above. The Garuda Rani page shows up nicely, but the screen freezes at a random time. Reboot. Second attempt, I had reconnected with wired keyboard and mouse, launched a shell to run garuda-inxi, the screen froze in the ‘save as’ dialog box in kate. Note, I had reinstalled with garuda-dr460nized-linux-zen-250308 before with success.
