Emacs weird behaviour when maximized

Hello! I noticed that Emacs doesn't behave so well when maximized; the appmenu doesn't merge into the top panel and there is a small gap around the window. Here's a screenshot of what I mean:

Is there anything I can do or is Emacs just incompatible with the specific layout?

I would guess that Emacs does not support appmenus, other prominent examples are Firefox & Mozilla without appmenu patch :slight_smile:

Thanks! After running that command, the appmenu now appears on the panel, but the gap remains.
